May 8th, 11 PM | Video | New Bark Town
[In contrast to the handful of messages that Peridot has sent out to the network in the past, there’s no dramatic lead in to her video message this time. It’s just her, in front of the camera, looking exhausted and just generally annoyed, and she cuts right to the chase:]
…So apparently I’ve been “gone” from this world for a significant amount of time, however that’s supposed to work.
[There’s a moment where she seems like she’s going to ask for some kind of explanation, but you know what? Ugh. No. She’s not going to bother complaining or trying to make sense of this nonsense. YOU WIN, JOHTO. Forget questioning the mechanics of time and space here, this gem’s just going to move on to the bigger fish that need frying:]
I don’t suppose anyone has any idea where I might find the rest of my Pokemon? Clod’s here, [and sure enough, the little Elgyem is poking her head into frame, and she looks pleased as punch to be reunited with her trainer,] but the rest are conspicuously absent.
[Midnight approaches, and with it, Glitch City. Anyone who answers her call is in for a potentially unpleasant conversation, once everything around turns into blocks.]

Woah, woah, hold up! Why?
Not cool. If I see 'em first, I'll get her back for you.
[Sure Peridot's a horrible goblin but they're on the same team. Or so he assumes. He's suddenly wondering why she isn't in the base.]
W-wow, really? Thanks...!
[SNIFF. She tries to hide wiping away a single tear by rubbing her one leaky eye under her glasses. SHE'S NOT CRYING. Listen, her voice is even back to its usual obnoxious nasally timbre now:]
Just for that, I forgive you for locking me in a garbage can one time, and I officially rescind my vow to make you pay for that action.
Uuuuuh, you...okay there? And I didn't lock you in, you're just too puny to lift the lid.
Well. That, and she's just very stressed out right now.]
I-I'm fine! It's just... If I'm going to be stuck here again, I just want my Pokemon back! And achieving that would be so much EASIER if I'd woken up back at the Goldenrod base again, I don't understand why I'm all the way out in New Bark Town, I mean what even IS THIS?
I dunno...by all means you oughtta woken up out here.
Do you think I should head back to base? The admins haven't contacted me...
[She feels strangely not keen on re-assimilating into Team Rocket, truth be told.]
[The feed ends and for a moment there aren't any replies. When he returns, Ralph is looking worried.]
Okay, so, turns out I can't get the private channel to connect to you so...maybe you...shouldn't.
[Uh oh. Is he going to have to beg somebody he SHOVED IN TRASH CAN not to rat him out for being a rocket?]
W-wait... What's that supposed to mean?! Did they kick me out or something?
[THE VERY THOUGHT. It's so offensive. She doesn't want to go back but she wants it to be on her terms, not because the admins gave her the boot.]
Beats me! Count your blessings, pal.

You could literally be anything. Be a Pokemon Master. Be a firefighter. Open a deli. Run an underground Mr. Mime charades competition ring. The list goes on and on!
[The frown deepens. She looks down towards her feet, brow creasing.] How am I supposed to - I mean, I can't just restart like this! How am I supposed to do anything without my Pokemon? I want them back, I'm the one who trained them, they're mine!
[Like a GOOD GUY!]
Wow, th-thanks...! Y'know you... You're a real gem, Ralph.
...
In the metaphorical sense.
...
Not the literal sense.
