Backtagging: I will pretty much back-tag into infinity, in theory! I do have a tendency to lose interest in threads if they go really, really long spans of time without any activity, but usually I will let you know if I need to drop something.
Fourthwalling: Generally no, but always feel free to ask if there's something you really want to do. On the other side of the coin, the media that exists in Peridot's canon is completely unique to it, and Peridot herself isn't exactly what you would call genre savvy so there's no worry about anything like that coming from her.

Flirting with this character: Go right ahead, so long as you're prepared for Peridot to miss the meaning completely, at which point she'll probably proceed to ask your character a lot of extremely awkward questions.
Fighting with this character: Totally fine, although with fights I usually like to plot out at least a rough idea of how things are going to end, just to ensure that the thread keeps flowing properly.
Injuring this character: Answer is generally 'yes', but do ask first. Chances are good that I will gladly let your character punch Peridot in her sassy mouth.
Killing this character: For Thisavrou, you're in luck: because Peridot retains her powers, she's also poof-able, meaning you can 'kill' her to your heart's content. Just check in w/ me first and make sure I don't already have some conflicting plans.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Same as everything else: Just ask first.
