It's a young woman, the same one that was broadcasting in a hysterical panic from Ilex Forest more than a month back... except, y'know. She's not green anymore. And there's something kind of unsettlingly wicked about her expression?]

Hello, Johto. I hope you're prepared to be awestruck, because have very exciting information to share with you all.

[She clears her throat, sits up a little straighter before continuing. Clod the Elgyem is visible, too, hovering at her shoulder as usual.]

It has now been well over one full Earth month since I was first abducted into this world. In that time, I will admit, it has been something of a... struggle, trying to understand the ways of this dimension. [a brief, dark scowl:] Yes... It hasn't been easy. But! I have remained determined throughout my time here to master the ways of this world, and the horrifying monsters that inhabit it. Well... Today, I have achieved something that I previously thought impossible!

[She starts to lean out of frame briefly.] BEHOLD--!

[Pause. Clod drifts a little closer to gaze right into the camera with its abyssal green eyes, while Peridot is distracted: There's angry grunts and mutterings coming from off screen.] Hey! No, come here you little-- a-ha! [She sits up again. Frowns at her Elgyem briefly before pushing it sort of gently out of the way with her elbow, so that she can hold up the most stunningly average, run-of-the-mill looking Rattata up to the screen. It's clearly nothing special, but the way Peridot's grinning about it, you'd think that the little creature was blessed by the Diamonds themselves.] BEHOLD! Just this morning, I subdued and captured this small purple beast and bent it to my will, and now it obeys my every command!

[She leans in again, snickering.] Be very afraid, Johto, for this is only the beginning! Very soon, this small purple beast and I will be unstoppable!

You are factually incorrect. Monsters are, by their very definition, horrifying! That's what makes them monsters in the first place!

[She cocks her head, frowning.] Why does it need to be 'special' to be impressive?

[Top percentage, maybe? Maybe not, but still, she looks proud, so it's best to encourage her, right?]

They can grow up to be really strong, I promise! Once it gets strong enough, its fangs can bite straight through solid rock and steel and everything! It's really cool! Oh, and it can use this really useful move called Super Fang! It's perfect for those really tough opponents you can't seem to whittle down, because it'll always take them down to half their strength, no matter how bulky they are!

Just make sure you treat it well and it'll be plowing through in no time!

Peridot makes prolonged, extremely excited gasping/wheezing sound that's really kind of undignified, to be quite honest.]

[She wiggles and capers excitedly in her seat, grinning, squeezing the little creature to her chest.] Oh! Oh oh oh oh, tell me, tell me how I can teach it this Super Fang technique...! [DIVULGE TO HER THIS INFORMATION AT ONCE!]

Hey! It's not cute, it's dangerous and intimidating! Or... Or at least it will be, once I've trained it a bit more.

[Peridot is taking this question very seriously, although that whole incident in the forest has at least taught her to treat anything Envy says with a certain amount of skepticism. She glares at him askance, jutting her chin up defiantly.]

...Maybe I will. They don't look particularly menacing to me, but their flight capability could be useful... Why? What can they do?

Well. Unfortunately mine likely won't be purple for very long, since I intend on training it until it evolves into its stronger, more vicious form as quickly as possible.

How cute! And I'm sure it'll become VERY strong, with training. I haven't trained one myself, but there was a young native boy near Cherrygrove who had one, and he seemed VERY enthusiastic about its potential.

To be honest, I've been receiving assessments of mixed sentiment, regarding the creature's strength potential. Many tell me that it can be trained to be a forced to be reckoned with, while others [her lip curls with distaste] disparage it for it's status as a very common species. It's very annoying.
