ITEM REQUESTS This page is for the OOC plotting and requesting of items from Peridot's workshop. Please provide a brief summary of what your character would like to have made, and we can hash out/hand wave an interaction. Please make sure to reply under the correct comment header! Feel free to get as specific/vague/creative as you'd like with your requests. If you'd like to actually thread out an interaction with Peridot, comment here and then have your character drop a message in Peridot's IC inbox. WEAPON TESTING SIGN-UPS Between working on requests from other crew members, Peridot may come up with different experimental weapons/inventions that will require field testing. If you are interested in having your character volunteer as a guinea pig in their spare time for a bit of hand-waved CR, comment here.

Did you want to plot anything specific into the creation of the gun? Any weird glitches or short comings, or new features you'd want added?

He's very particular about it in canon, and could probably want to supervise and generally be annoying. XD It's not a freeze ray dammit, it's a cold gun, get it right.

And I'd be perfectly happy to have it glitch or not work quite right! I'm not sure how proficient Peridot is with making these sort of things?

She's pretty proficient! I was just offering a glitch as like, an example of something extra. She will gladly make him a perfectly functional cold gun and also probably be really snippy about being hovered over lol

ETA: it just occurred to me as I hit the 'post comment' button that his job might end up having some weird crossover with hers since he's the Advanced Weapons Technician. Assuming he ever gets around to doing his job. oAo;;;

I'd say let's be friends, but no one deserves Prometheus as a friend lol. B| that came out more aggressive than necessary wow PromProm turn it down to 9 so I can work here.

UwU; Especially since she made him a weapon and he will be... designing weapons for the ships defences. cue him saying something about how he hopes they'll get along since they're going to work together when he finally leaves the Armoury.

HELLO THERE QUICK QUESTION

I want to arm Nate up for the upcoming event, but he doesn't need special or custom weaponry, just some standard (though probably above civilian-grade) firearms from Earth, or their closest equivalent. Is this the place for that or is it special stuff only?

The armory is really for specialty/custom weaponry and other items bUT, I'm not sure if there is an alternate for. Regularly weaponry either?

BASICALLY what I'd say is, check w/ the mods, and if there isn't some kind of place everyone's supposed to go to get regular guns, I'd be happy to have her hook him up with some stuff C:

NO WORRIES I've been out and about for most of the past couple of days myself. Either way thanks for the answer! I figured this would be a good place to start since it was more of a general question and they were dealing with specific stuff for the event. It looks like it might end up being a moot point anyway, going by the clarification of how the plot works, but if Nate should need anything from her after all I will absolutely swing by, thanks :D
