Peridot's nicknaming game is incredibly weak, because why the heck should she call them by anything other than what they are? Individuality is for organic chumps.
Someday, maybe, she will change her tune.

CLOD
ELGYEM, the Cerebral Pokemon ♀ | "CLOD"
OT: Peridot
Level: 40
Type: Psychic
Ability: Telepathy; Anticipates an ally's attack and dodges it (does not take friendly fire in team battles. Status moves from allies still hit).
Nature & Characteristic: Calm, often lost in thought.
Moveset: Confusion, Growl, Heal Block, Miracle Eye, Psybeam, Headbutt, Hidden Power, Imprison, Simple Beam, Dark Pulse (TM), Zen Headbutt, Psych Up, Psychic
Met at: Goldenrod City (level 15)
Though Peridot would adamantly protest otherwise, Clod the Elgyem has become Peridot's most trusted pokemon partner, and a constant source of company and support throughout her stay in the Pokemon world. When they first met, initial assessment indicated that this Pokémon was everything that her trainer wasn't: calm, inexpressive, low-key, and quietly at peace with the world around her.
Months later, that assessment still holds mostly true: Clod nearly always acts like her mind is a million miles away, or perhaps even on some alternate plane of existence for how much of a flip she seems to give about her surroundings. Her detached demeanor is highly misleading, though, and she's much more attentive to her trainer than one might assume. Just because she seems constantly spaced out, doesn't mean that she isn't paying attention. Clod follows Peridot around religiously, and can nearly always be found levitating at her trainer's side. Her near constant presence puts her in the unique position of being able to calmly draw Peridot's attention to things that her trainer, who has a tendency to slip into a one-track mindset, might otherwise ignore or miss out on.
Peridot is still deeply perturbed by the fact that she has yet to ever see Clod sleep, or even close her eyes for anything longer than a slow blink.
CLOD #2
HOUNDOOM, the Dark Pokemon ♂ | CLOD #2
OT: Peridot
Level: 35
Type: Dark/Fire
Ability: Flash Fire; Powers up the Pokémon's Fire-type moves if it's hit by one. Grants immunity to fire-type moves.
Nature & Characteristic: Rash, strongly defiant.
Moveset: Leer, Ember, Howl, Smog, Roar, Bite, Odor Sleuth, Dark Pulse (TM), Beat Up, Fire Fang, Feint Attack,
Met at Goldenrod City (level 5, as Houndour) | November 2015
Unlike Clod, Clod #2 is feisty, stubborn, and strongly driven by an youthful desire to grow more powerful. He has a bit of a temper, too, and is always spoiling for a fight. Generally, he is not very respectful or keen on following Peridot's orders outside of battle, which means that simple tasks, such as convincing him to make room for her on her bunk before bedtime, are a nightly peril. But, when a match is on, he is 100% focused and ready to give it his all.
...Unfortunately, he is also kind of a sore loser, and thus defeat tends to reduce him into throwing fiery rage tantrums. This has lessened a bit since he has evolved into houndoom, but the threat is still there, and somehow his threat implied by his murder glares as a houndoom are even more terrifying than his actual tantrums back in the houndour stage.
MUD
BEEDRILL, the Poison Bee Pokemon ♀ | "MUD"
OT: Peridot
Level: 17
Type: Bug/Poison
Ability: Shield Dust; Prevents additional effects of attacks taken.
Nature & Characteristic: Impish, Alert to Sounds.
Moveset: Poison Sting, String Shot, Bug Bite, Harden, Focus Energy, Twineedle
Met at: Ilex Forest (level 15, as weedle) | (Fall 4th Wall Event, 2015)
Peridot is not fond of Mud. The two met back when the trainer found herself lost in Ilex Forest thanks to a glitch that transported her right out of the Rocket Base and directly into the woods. While she was wandering around in a panic, Mud decided to drop out of a tree and make herself comfortable in Peridot's rhombus shaped hair (Peridot having reverted to her natural body temporarily; another effect of the glitch). Well... The Pokemon-phobic Rocket Grunt didn't take kindly to this invasion of her personal space, once several people on the network pointed out the creature's presence in her cranial follicles. She shook the weedle out onto the ground and then proceeded to try and squish it with the first blunt object she had on hand: A Pokeball, snatched up in the heat of the moment.
For a while, Peridot refused to acknowledge Mud's existence. Once she started taking team building more seriously though, she started letting the weedle out more frequently. Already at level 15 when she was first captured, Mud swiftly evolved into kakuna and then beedrill... and Peridot is even more frightened of letting her out now than she was before. In this case, that fear is a little more justified: Mud's sweet-natured confusion over her trainer's less than friendly attitude towards her has curdled into resentment, and Peridot is understandably nervous about letting a 3-foot tall angry wasp that isn't keen about following her orders out to play.
AMETHYST
RATTATA, the Mouse Pokemon ♀ | AMETHYST
OT: Peridot
Level: 36
Type: Normal
Ability: Run Away
Nature & Characteristic: Jolly, Likes to Relax
Moveset: Tackle, Tail Whip, Quick Attack, Focus Energy, Bite, Pursuit, Hyper Fang, Sucker Punch, Crunch, Assurance, Super Fang, Double-Edge, Endeavor
Met at Goldenrod City (level 12) | January 2016
Despite the fact that it's just about the most common Pokemon imaginable, Peridot is absolutely smitten with her rattata, and firmly convinced that she is a pokemon to be feared, regardless of her small size. Amethyst was the first pokemon that Peridot ever deliberately caught on her own (catching Mud was an accident), and so to go along with this momentous achievement, she named the plucky little rodent after someone important to her from back home. Her excuse for this is that it seemed fitting, anyway: The creature is purple, strong, and loves to nap and fight, and she found it hanging out in the garbage.
The downside to this meaningful nickname is that Peridot's very reluctant to evolve Amethyst. Though she likes to talk up the rattata's strength and her infinite potential as she already is, she's well aware that turning Amethyst into a raticate would make her a much more potent force on the battlefield... But she doesn't like the idea of letting go of what feels like the one link she has back to her home universe. Of course, this kind of sentimental attachment is rather unprecedented for the pragmatic gem, and thinking about how abnormal it is for her to feel so irrationally about something upsets and infuriates her. As such, it's best not to ask Peridot what her reasoning is for keeping the little purple rat in her basic stage.
