Anyway, I can't make my own version, that would be an immense waste of time, a completely ridiculous pursuit. I mean granted, yes, I could write it a thousand times better, and it would be satisfying to correct the wrongs of the actual ending, but I can't possibly get ahold of all of the actors! Even if I could, the aging rate of the average human means that they probably don't even remotely look the part anymore, making it a pointless effort.
Although, perhaps if I were to just write an alternate ending, it would take less time, less resources, leaving me with more time free for other pursuits.

Pierre has MUCH more to offer to their partnership than just mere lung capacity.
And that's the problem, the series ends without ever reaching that point, if that is what they were going for!
[Getting the entire CPH collection on DVD in the space mail has been as much a blessing as a curse.]
